Charles is an accomplished business professional with vast experience in Insurance and Marketing Management across the East African Region having worked in South Sudan, Kenya and Uganda, building Alternative distribution channels for business growth with Various Regional Insurance giants such as Britam Insurance, UAP Old mutual, among others.
His leadership and technical skills over the last 15 years have been put to test in highly diverse environments.
He is a Holder of an MBA Degree from Uganda Martyrs’ University with a major in Management, he is a member and Candidate of the Association of Chartered insurance institute (ACII) of UK, and He is a Member and Candidate of the Insurance Training College of Uganda.
Charles also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microfinance from Uganda martyrs university, a Diploma in Procurement, logistics and supply chain Management from the African population Institute. He is an accomplished risk manager in the oil and Gas sector, among other key skills and trainings attained.
His passion to build capacity among the poor youths both in rural and urban centers, the desire to improve welfare and livelihood, create economic independence, among other activities, prompted him to establish Calkev International ltd at a time when the COVID19 pandemic had caused very devastating effects on the lives of many urban and Rural youths across the country.
